Group Events Keeping Hotels Busy This Summer

The CVB Sales Department continues working hard to bring group events to Springfield.

In the next few weeks, staff will represent the city at the Christian Meetings & Conventions Association Conference, Missouri Bank Travel Marketplace and the National Sports Commission Symposium.

You can see the results of past efforts by taking a look at the list of upcoming group events below. The list represents groups attracted to Springfield by CVB sales efforts and groups receiving convention services from the CVB. Not all groups were booked by the CVB. In many cases, meeting planners work directly with hotels to book their events and utilize convention services provided by the CVB.

We encourage local businesses to welcome these groups with messages on their marquees.
