CVB to Offer Educational Programs in Lieu of Attractions Council

The Attractions Council has been an important part of Springfield’s tourism industry for many years. Unfortunately, the last year or so we’ve seen declining attendance and participation. We understand everyone is increasingly busy and the content required to keep participants engaged is changing.

The Attractions Council will be cancelled and instead the Convention & Visitors Bureau is planning to host a couple of educational sessions each year to cover topics such as sales, marketing, PR trends, social media, the CVB extranet, etc. These sessions will be open to all members of the Springfield tourism industry. Watch your email for news about these upcoming sessions.

Thank you for your continued support. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. If you have any ideas for topics for the upcoming educational sessions, please share them.
