Welcome These Groups on Your Marquee!

Large or small, the Convention & Visitors Bureau brings in or provides services to a variety of groups that meet in the city.

Among the events taking place in Springfield in the next couple months are two that will thrill gear heads: The Birthplace of Route 66 Festival and the O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine Nationals.

The festival includes a classic car show, a motorcycle rally, live entertainment, vendors and more. The Street Machine Nationals includes a variety of activities for muscle cars, classic cars, hot rods, street machines and other vehicles.

Other upcoming group events include traditional conferences, conventions, seminars and reunions. All are important to the local economy and we encourage business owners to welcome them with messages on their marquees and in other ways that will make them feel at home and want to return in the future.

The list below represents groups booked by the Convention & Visitors Bureau as well as groups booked directly through hotels and event venues. It does not represent every group coming to the city. The statistics represent anticipated attendees and room nights and are subject to change.

Learn more about how to get a group to the city by calling the CVB’s Sales Department at 417-881-5300 or 800-678-8767.
