Governor’s Conference on Tourism set for Oct. 4-6

Registration is underway for the Missouri Division of Tourism’s 2016 Missouri Governor’s Conference on Tourism, the largest annual gathering of tourism industry partners in the state.

During the conference Oct. 4-6, nationally known experts share information on a variety of pertinent tourism topics. You will discover new ways to tell your story and connect with your audience, gain insight into tourism’s place in the global economy, learn more about consumer behavior, enjoy lively debates at the Show-Me Showdown and so much more.

And don’t forget all the networking opportunities! On Oct. 4, you have a couple of great early bird choices. If you like to golf, you’ll love the 2016 Missouri Golf Day.  If history is more your thing, then don’t miss the tour of historic Independence.  After your busy day, enjoy an evening of fun during the Welcome Reception at the Kansas City Zoo.

Visit exhibitors throughout the conference to see how they can help your business and community.  Also, peruse Missouri Travel Council’s Silent Auction items for some fantastic packages.

On Oct. 5, honor industry leaders at the annual awards gala.
