CVB Offers Training Sessions for Partners Jan. 5

The Convention & Visitors Bureau is offering a training seminar for its partners from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Jan. 5 in the Bill Foster North and South rooms at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

Sessions will include training on the CVB’s extranet for hotels, attractions, restaurants and retailers. Topics will include how to log in, pay invoices, view benefits and update contacts. Participants will also learn how to update their listings with information, photos, videos, social media, coupons and more.

The program also includes presentations on Industry Trends by Jerry Henry of H2R Market Research and a program titled “Reputation Management on TripAdvisor – Getting the Most Out of Your Listing on the World’s Largest Travel Site” by Scott Caufield with Trip Advisor.

Cost is $10 per person and includes lunch. Click here to register by Dec. 30.
