From Dairy Farmers to China Painters, Variety of Groups Coming to Springfield

The Convention & Visitors Bureau Sales Department represents the city at a variety of trade shows and events where they network with planners and showcase the city as a location where meetings, conventions and sports events can take place.

Recent and upcoming trade shows include the St. Louis Chapter of Meeting Planners International EduCon, Professional Convention Management Association Convening Leaders Conference, Travel South Showcase, National Association of Sports Commissions Symposiums and Event Service Professionals Association Conference.

Below is a list of groups meeting in Springfield in the coming weeks. The list represents groups booked by the CVB as well as groups booked directly through hotels and event venues. It does not represent every group coming to the city. The statistics represent anticipated attendees and room nights and are subject to change.

  • Jan 19-21 – Missouri Dairy Association Heart of America Dairy Expo, 300 attendees, 220 room nights
  • Jan. 25-27 – National Farmers Organization, 225 attendees, 500 room nights
  • Feb. 2-5 – Sports Car Club of America Midwest Division Convention, 200 attendees, 225 room nights
  • Feb. 21-22 – Missouri Water Well Association Annual Conference, 190 attendees, 201 room nights
  • March 13-17 – National Christian HomeSchool Championships Basketball Nationals, 10,000 attendees, 6,247 room nights
  • March 16-18 – Assemblies of God Royal Rangers, 400 attendees, 606 room nights
  • March 30-April 1 – Missouri World Organization of China Painters Tri-State Show, 300 attendees, 197 room nights
