Wild West Enthusiasts Coming to Springfield July 18-21

History buffs will unite in Springfield July 18-21 for the 11th Annual Roundup of the Wild West History Association.

A number of presentations about the fascinating people and events that took place in the area during the Wild West Era are planned. They include Wild Bill Hickok and the shootout on Park Central Square, Belle Starr, Laura Ingalls Wilder and several others. The event taking place at the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center is open to the public. Attendees can register for the entire event or parts of it. Registration details are available at https://wildwesthistory.org/2018-regforms.html. At least 150 people are expected to attend.

The Wild West History Association is a nonprofit organization for people who love history and the lore of the Wild West. The organization gives people the opportunity to learn, share and enjoy the fellowship of others with similar interests.
