The CVB’s fall marketing campaign, “Give Yourself a Weekend,” ends Nov. 15.
Advertising targeting leisure travelers is running digitally across all of Missouri, parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Television spots are running in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, northwest Arkansas, Tulsa, and Wichita as well as streaming placements in those markets. Billboards are up in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Tulsa and Joplin. Print advertising, each with matching digital components, are active in each of the markets mentioned above.
With the help of CVB partners, a contest was scheduled for Oct. 20 with KTVI in St. Louis for a Free Trip Tuesday where a family of four won win a free weekend trip to Springfield. The contest included a live remote interview with Megan Buchbinder, CVB marketing director.

Locally, Fox AM featured 10 CVB partners on 10 different segments in October, showing locals different ways they can get out and tour their own city safely. KY3 also hosted an interview on their new lifestyle show “The Place.”

A fall campaign promoting zero attrition and other incentives also ends Nov. 15. The campaign targeting convention and sports planners includes a LinkedIn targeted campaign and a print campaign with email and digital components.
